Good to Go from Head to Toe at Pretend City

My boys and I checked out the Good to Go Health Fair that was going on at the parking lot of Pretend City, the children’s museum, in Irvine one weekend. It was a beautiful Saturday morning so it was great to be hangin’ outside – the kids had a blast riding a fire truck, playing games (like the sack race by the Recess and Results booth and the obstacle course), meeting mascots like Wild Wing of the Anaheim Ducks and Bearamy of Build-a-Bear and sampling the food (chocolate covered acai berries from Lulu’s Creperie). There were FREE health screenings and lots of freebies which the kids loved of course – oh yes, they got their fair share of pencils, stickers etc. For this SuburbanMama, it was great finding out about some amazing resources in my community.

After we’d gone through every booth, the boys wanted more or in the words of my younger son “More Fun!” So we spent another hour INSIDE Pretend City. But that’s a story for another day.
