Kid-Friendly Smoothie Recipes with FREZZOR Wholesome Shake

In this day and age, when it’s easier to reach for junk food or pre-packaged food, giving kids the nutrients they need in food can be a challenge. My own growing boys, while not really big junk food eaters, do have picky palates. So it takes some creativity to get them to eat healthy all the time. The only vegetables they enjoy eating are broccoli and carrots. They’ll argue that they eat corn and potatoes too, neither of which are vegetables really.

Luckily, they do enjoy drinking smoothies. With our handy and hardworking Vitamix, my kids know how to make their own smoothies.  Strawberry-Banana smoothies are a favorite.

Lately, I’ve been experimenting with FREZZOR products. I’ve taken to incorporating a scoop or two of FREZZOR KIDS Wholesome Shake in my boys’ shakes. Here are two of my favorite smoothie recipes.

Strawberry-Banana Smoothie

1 Banana

1 1/4 cups sliced fresh strawberries

2 cups of Almond Milk

1 scoop FREZZOR Wholesome Shake

Blend all ingredients in a blender until smooth.

Strawberry Banana Smoothie

Green Smoothie

1 cup almond milk (or dairy milk or coconut)

1 banana

½ cup frozen pineapple

2 handfuls spinach

1 scoop FREZZOR Wholesome Shake

Blend all ingredients in a blender until smooth.

TIP: Using frozen fruit gives the smoothie a thicker consistency. You can also add ice cubes if you prefer.
