A few months ago, I was lucky to get a few boxes of a2 Milk to sample. First of let me just say that it tastes delicious, just like, well, milk.
So what’s the big deal right? What’s the difference?
Basically, a2 Milk is the first farm fresh pure milk that naturally contains only the A2 protein. Research shows that milk containing this protein makes it easier for people to digest. So for those with lactose intolerance, or those whose tummies don’t seem to agree with cow’s milk, a2 milk is the answer.
93% of the U.S. population can now enjoy pure, heirloom milk symptom free. Yes, heirloom milk, like “heirloom” tomatoes. It has something to do with the protein found in these cows. You see, ordinary cows’ milk contains a mix of both A1 and A2 proteins. Researchers have found that this A2 protein helps people digest milk better. And so, a2 Milk® comes from cows selected to naturally produce only A2 protein and no A1 – and that makes all the difference.
You’ve probably seen the commercial.
And let me tell you, it’s just like they said in that commercial. It’s milk “just as nature intended.” If you are drinking Lactaid or Almond Milk because you are afraid of how regular cow’s milk can affect you, I think you should give a2 milk a try. And as you know, it goes with everything.
Here’s a photo I posted on Instagram showing a2 milk with cookies! But, of course!
I even had a2 milk with my sandwich and salad for lunch!
